Who we are
Surendra Steel Sales, Bay Shop 296, Industrial Area Phase I, Chandigarh 160002, India. We sell steel. This page explains what happens to the details you send us through this website.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form:
- your name and mobile number,
- your city or site, the products and quantity you ask about, and
- your company name and note, if you add them.
We also record the time the enquiry arrived. The form asks you to confirm you are 18 or older; we do not collect your age.
Why we use it
To call or message you back with the rate you asked for and, if you buy, to arrange your order. We do not sell your details, share them for advertising or add you to a marketing list.
Who can see it
Our own staff. Enquiries are stored in our business database, which runs on Supabase, a cloud database service that holds the data for us and does not use it for anything else.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it to answer your enquiry and keep our business records. You can ask us to delete it at any time, and we will, unless the law requires us to keep a record of a sale.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. If you pick a colour setting (Auto, Light or Dark) at the bottom of the page, that choice is saved in your own browser only and is never sent to us.
The map in "Visit the yard" is shown by Google Maps. It loads only when you scroll to it, and Google may set its own cookies when it does. We receive nothing from it. Google's own privacy policy applies to the map.
Your rights and complaints
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, or have them deleted, and you can raise a complaint with us.
